Gurugram rape case: One accused held; hunt for the other two still going on

In a horrific rape incident which took place on May 29th and was reported on Tuesday in which a 23-year-old woman was brutally raped by an auto driver and his friends and when the women tried to object the rapists threw her nine-month-old baby out of the auto.

After the incident, the woman filed an FIR in the Manesar Sector Police Station after which, Gurgaon police released the sketches of the accused and appealed to the public for their identification. According to the reports, Gurgaon police commissioner Sandeep Khirwar said that “Her husband and Gurgaon police received the victim from M G Road Metro station after she returned from the hospital in Delhi. Following that, police conducted the post-mortem of the infant.”

On Wednesday, police caught hold of one of the accused in the rape case and said that the other two rapists are still roaming free but they have their sketches and they are finding them.
