India sealed a comfortable victory against South Africa with 8 wickets to spare on Sunday’s virtual Quarterfinals. India is all set to face Bangladesh in Semifinals which will be held on 15th June 15th. India always looked ahead of the South African players in the match with exceptional economical bowling from Bhuvaneshwar Kumar (2-23) and Jasprit Bumrah (2-28) which restricted South Africa to the total of just 191/10.

Quinton de Kock was the only half-centurion in the squad. India chased the score with eight wickets in hand. Rohit went to the pavilion early in the innings scoring 20 runs off 12 balls. It proved to be just a scratch for the Indian innings as Shikhar Dhawan 78 and Virat Kohli *76, sailed through the innings easily and India won the match with 12 Overs to spare.
On the other hand, yet again South Africa is thrown out of the ICC tournaments. The record of poor performance in ICC events, World Cups and Champions Trophy remains with this loss.
