It took India just 29.5 overs to register their second win in the ICC U19 World Cup in New Zealand. While first win was by a whopping margin of 100 runs against Australia, the second was by 10 wickets with 42 overs left.

Led by Anukul Sudhakar Roy, who picked up five wickets for just 14 runs, India bowled out their opponents Papua New Guinea, debutant in ICC World Cups, for a meagre total of 64 runs in 21.5 overs.

After invited to bat first, PNG never looked in the game and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Shivam Mavi provided the first two breakthroughs before Anukul ran through the batting line up.

Wicket-keeper Simon Atai, Ovia Sam and Sinaka Arua scored 13, 15 and 12 runs respectively while 5 others failed to open their accounts. Mavi picked up 2 wickets for India while Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Arshdeep Singh picked up 1 wicket each.

Chasing a modest total of 65, Prithvi Shaw made a light work of the total as India cruised home with 10 wickets and 42 overs in hand. Captain Shaw scored his second successive half century of the tournament and accounted for 57 of the 67 that India scored showing why he is rated so high.
