102 Not Out teaser: Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor bring a truly different love story to you

Date:

Amitabh Bachchan is 102 but full of zest; son Rishi Kapoor not so much.  He may or may not have been a rebellious teenager but now as a 70-something man, he has to deal with a father who has plans to make a world record. He wants to send his son to a “vriddha ashram”. Amitabh says with obvious glee: “Ek putra ko vriddha aashram bhejne wala mai duniya ka pehla baap banunga!” That’s Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out for you — a dad-son love story.

Watch the teaser here:

The film’s teaser released on Friday and stars Big B as the 102-year old father and Rishi plays the role of his son, who is 75 years old. The film is based on a Gujarati play by the same name.

Tagged as the “most unusual love story of a father and son”, the film is directed by Shukla who has earlier directed Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG – Oh My God. The minute-long video shows a fun-loving father, essayed by Amitabh, to Rishi’s comparatively quieter son. The two, perhaps, have only each other to look after and call family.

Amitabh and Rishi have earlier worked together in several films including Coolie, Kabhi Kabhi, Amar Akbar Anthony and Ajooba.

The movie hits theatres on May 4.
