CRPF lady commandos to take on stone pelters in Kashmir

Date:

As incidents of stone pelting in Jammu and Kashmir rise with women joining the pelters in the Valley, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has trained a team of lady commandos to deal with the situation.

These women commandos have been given rigorous training to be able to fight under any situation. Their training included being blindfolded to deal with night-time deployment and repairing weapons in under a minute in case of any malfunction.

Security forces have been repeatedly challenged by stone pelting mobs across the Valley in last few years.
