A study was conducted on the behaviour of online dating on about 40,000 people. Based on the study, the result showed that women who are under the age of 40 are more choosy about the men they want to be with.

In terms of the education level of men, women prefer and look for partners who share the same or slightly higher intellect level. In the case of men, those who are above 40 years are also pickier when it comes to finding the right women and to them as well, education levels of women matter a lot.

Though the education levels of the potential partners mattered to both men and women, women between 18 to 30 years of age had a higher expectation from a man’s education level as compared to men.
