WATCH: This guy hangs for life after pilot forgets to attach him to glider

A video has gone viral on social media in which an American man had a near death experience when he hang glide on a plane as the pilot forgot to attach him to the glider in Switzerland.

The chilling video shows the man stuggling to stay attached to the aircraft for good 2 minutes before the glider came close to the ground and he fell on the ground.

According to reports, the victim, Chris Gursky, fractured his wrist in the incident and tore his left bicep’s tendon.

Gursky said he had to hang on for his life for 2 minutes and 14 seconds.

“I will go hang gliding again as I did not get to enjoy my first flight,” he was quoted in a report..

Noting that it was the first day of his recent vacation in the Central European country with his wife Gail, Gursky joked, “BASE jumping tomorrow?”

Gursky wrote that the pilot made a “critical error” in not attaching him to the glider but praised him for doing “all he could to get me down to the ground as quickly as possible while grabbing on to my harness and flying with one hand.”
