The popularity of the TV show Game of Thrones is all because of the efforts and hard work by the actors as well as crew behind the camera. But it was Sophie Turner, a.k.a Sansa Stark who might have done something extra than others.

In a revelation, the actress revealed that for the first few seasons, she was allowed to wash her hair as she was a young aristocratic girl. But towards the end of Season 5, the makers and producers of the show had asked her to stop washing it, and she felt that it was really disgusting.

She further added that it was really itchy, and there were quite a few snow machines on the sets, due to which little snow paper articles would get stuck in her greasy hair.

Speaking about it further, she discloses that she soon switched over to wearing wigs in order to save her hair from damage. On being asked about how the experience of wearing a wig was for her, she revealed that it would just give her momentary transformation and would not let her commit to her role, so she tried using her own hair as much as she could.
