NewsMobile Smart Traveller: 10 Delhi bound trains late, 2 flights diverted due to bad weather

Delhi-NCR region witnessed a change in weather on Thursday morning as rains lashed the region.

 

Train services have been affected with 11 trains to Delhi running late. The weather has also affected flight schedules with 2 flights diverted from the Delhi airport.

‘Another western disturbance accompanied by moist eastern winds from the Bay of Bengal is likely to hit the northwest plains of the country, including Delhi, from Wednesday night (February 13),’ Kuldeep Srivastava, regional head of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), told news agency IANS.

These conditions will continue over the national capital till Friday, he said.

The maximum temperature on Thursday is 21 degrees Celsius, while the minimum is 14 degrees Celsius.
