Are these pictures from Rahul Gandhi’s Jalore rally? Here’s the truth

Date:

A few pictures have been making rounds on social media claiming that they are from Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s Jalore rally on April 25, 2019.

the caption read.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, we found the truth behind the images.

Images of the crowd

When we put the images through Reverse Image Search, we found out that they were taken in 2013 during the Haryana Shakti Rally.  We also noticed that the pictures of the massive crowd are from the same event.

Rahul Gandhi picture

Some of the other pictures were tweeted by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot.

“Sharing some glimpses from #RahulGandhi ji’s massive public meetings in Jalore, Ajmer and Kota today… #Rajasthan” – Ashok Gehlot said in a tweet.

This proves that though the pictures of Rahul Gandhi are from their massive rally at Jalore, Ajmer and Kota, the picture of the crowd has been falsely attributed.
