Date:

A picture has surfaced on the internet in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi can be seen with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, in the background ‘चोकीदार चोर है'(Chowkidar Chor Hai) can be seen flashing on the television screen.

The caption of the post read: “देश विदेश हर जगह शोर है चोकीदार चोर है..!! #ChowkidarChorHai

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact checkers did a fact check, we found that the picture is PHOTOSHOPPED.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found a tweet on PM Modi’s official twitter handle.

The caption of the tweet read: “PM @AbeShinzo 、山梨の別荘での温かいおもてなしに心から感謝いたします。安倍総理のこのおもてなしを大変光栄に思います。安倍総理はまた、箸を使った日本流の食事の仕方を教えてくださいました。

(Translation- PM @AbeShinzo Thank you very much for the warm hospitality at the villa in Yamanashi. I am very honored by the hospitality of Prime Minister Abe. Prime Minister Abe also taught me how to use Japanese chopsticks with Japanese chopsticks.)

The FAKE vs Real collage clearly shows that the picture is FAKE.
