Fact Checked: This ‘auto driver’ is not PM Modi’s brother

A picture of a man driving an auto is going viral on social media and claims are being made that he is PM Modi’s.

“# जिसका बडा भाई भारत का प्रधानमंत्री हो और छोटा भाई आँटो चालक ऐसे महान सपूत को,, शत् शत् नमन ,,” the caption read.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral post and found out that the claim was fake.

We found an article by Deccan Abroad dated January 3, 2017. According to that article, this man is a lookalike of PM Modi from Telangana’s Adilabad town, named Shaik Ayub.  

We also found an article by The Hans India dated 2 Jan 2017, who carried the same story.
