This video of an old man is not from Jammu and Kashmir; here’s the fact check

A video has surfaced on the internet in which an old man can be seen looking at the body of a man lying on the floor. It is being claimed that the man in the video is a 90-year-old man from Kashmir who couldn’t bury his son’s body due to extreme conditions in Jammu and Kashmir.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above video, we found that the claim attached to it to be false. We found that the video is not from Kashmir.

On putting the keyframes of the video through Yandex Reverse Image Search, we came across several news reports which confirmed that the video is from Syria after the attacks of the Russian Air Force.

Hence, the above information proves that the viral video is not from Jammu and Kashmir.
