Delhi Metro Grey Line to open on October 4

In a great news to Delhiites, the Delhi Metro Grey Line will be formally flagged off on October 4.

The 4.29 kilometre-long corridor which connects Dwarka to Najafgarh will be inaugurated by Union Minister Hardeep Puri and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

“The Dwarka – Najafgarh corridor will be formally flagged off on 4th October, 2019 by Sh. Hardeep S Puri, Hon’ble MoS (I/C) Housing & Urban Affairs, Civil Aviation and MoS Commerce & Industry and Sh. Arvind Kejriwal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Delhi,” official Twitter handle of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a tweet.

“The Flagging Off ceremony will take place in Metro Bhawan at 12:15 PM and passenger services on the section shall commence from 5 PM on the same day,” DMRC added.

The latest corridor will have three stations — Dwarka, Nangli and Najafgarh. While Dwarka and Nangli are elevated stations, Najafgarh is underground.
