Amid the protests in the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) over hostel fees hike, a picture of a woman with a banner is making rounds on social media.

When NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture, we found the picture to be morphed.
The woman in the picture is Priyanka Bharti of CRJD (the student wing of the RJD) who was the presidential candidate of JNUSU 2019.
Priyanka on November 12th, 2019, had posted the original picture on her Facebook profile. In the original picture, the text on the banner was different from the one in the above post.
In the above FAKE vs REAL collage it is clear that the text on the banner has been changed using photoshop softwear.
