We took the screengrab of the video using InVID took and then ran the picture through Reverse Image search. Our search led us to the same video uploaded on YouTube on August 28, 2016.
We also checked the official social media accounts of Saryu Rai where we found his tweet clarifying that the man in the video is not him.
“After my victory in Jamshedpur East assembly constituency, a video of a man resembling myself, dancing to the tune of a popular song (is being shared). Do not consider it to be my dance performance.
