A video is doing rounds on social media in which a man can be seen distributing money to a few women and it has been claimed that the video is from Shaheen Bagh and women protestors were being paid.
The caption in Hindi read: ये लो बंट रहे हैं 500-500
चमचों तुम्हारी क्रांतिकारी #शाहिनबाग वाली चाची का ताजा वीडियो लाया हूं, देख लो किस तरह पैसे पर CAA का विरोध करवाया जा रहा है विपक्ष मुसलमान भाइयों के बच्चे को अशिक्षित कर रही है बच्चे के दिमागों में नफरते डाल रही है, पकोडे तलने पर राजनीति करने वाले आजकल 500-700रू मे अपनी चाचियों को शाहिनबाग मे कमाने भेज रहे है।अब शर्म नहीँ आ रही जाहिलो को। भाइयों इस वीडियो को शेयर जरूर करें ताकि देश की जनता की आँखे खुल सके।।

NewsMobile fact-checked the above posts and we found the claim attached to the videos to be FAKE.
On closely observing the video, we found that in the background, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s voice can be heard. Also, a few women in the video can be seen holding a cloth with Congress logo on it.
We then extracted the keyframes of the video and on putting them through Reverse Image Search, with keywords such as ‘Congress’, ‘Rally’, ‘Money’, ‘distributed’, we came across the same video on YouTube which was uploaded on October 31st, 2017.
This establishes that it is an old video. Moreover, the protest at Shaheen Bagh started on December 15th, 2019.
Hence, the above information proves that the viral video is NOT from Shaheen Bagh and the claim attached to the video is false.
