Date:

Bengaluru: Crime never pays. This holds true in all cases, especially the one that took place in Bengaluru on an early Sunday morning.

A techie from the city has been arrested for murdering her mother, aged 54 and stabbing her brother before fleeing on a vacation to Andaman and Nicobar Islands with her male friend.

The alleged incident happened on early Sunday morning when the accused techie murdered her mom, stabbed her brother and left him for dead before leaving with her male friend to Port Blair on a vacation.

The Police revealed that her brother initially tried misguiding the police by saying that the accused techie was just trying to escape from the debtors and didn’t want them to harass the family. He said that she then decided to murder both before escaping.

However, the police found a CCTV footage of the accused with her partner.

They then managed to track down both of them to a hotel in Port Blair. The island police then arrested them.

The police believe that this murder could have taken place as the accused may have felt a note of disapproval of her relationship from her mother and brother.

They have been brought back to Bengaluru and the police are investigating the matter further.
