The command centre will be set up at the police station and there will be real time monitoring of flow of traffic, crimes and traffic violations. The loud speakers have been fitted so that the police can issue instructions directly instead of posting personnel to clear the traffic mess.

The command centre will also relay information pertaining to criminal activities that can be detected through the CCTV’s.

The funds for the project will come directly from the various companies as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Among others, facial recognition technologies will be used once this scheme has been implemented and the funds will be sought from the state government.

The Ashok Nagar police station in the city is the only police station to be using the facial recognition technology as of now.
