US President Donald Trump has called on Prince Harry and Meghan Merkel who intend to shift to the US to pay for their own security.
Trump tweeted saying that he admired the Queen and the United Kingdom but the US will not pay for the security of the couple who will be moving to Meghan Merkel’s hometown of Los Angeles in California.
I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!

The couple spent a year together in Canada and were staying in the Western Coast. The Canadian Government led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had only last month, withdrawn free security to the couple.
A statement released through a Spokesperson on Sunday, the couple clarified and said that:

“The Duke and Duchess have no plans to ask the US government for security resources. Privately funded security arrangements have been made.”
The Royal Couple will be surrendering their titles and will not be performing any royal functions from March 31, according to Buckingham Palace.
The President’s announcement comes at a time when the US is grappling with the effects of the Coronavirus with more than 1,50,000 cases and 2381 deaths.
The state of California where the couple intend to stay has reported 5565 positive cases and 121 deaths.
