-India reported 3,390 new cases in 24 hours, taking the total cases to 56,342, said the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
-103 people died in the country during the period, according to the Union Health Ministry. The number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 37,916. “Around 29.35 per cent patients have recovered so far,” a senior health ministry official said.
– Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi have reported the highest number of cases.
– Number of COVID-19 cases in Maharashtra has reached 19,063, with 1,089 more people testing positive today. 37 people lost their lives due to the disease in the last 24 hours, taking COVID-19 death toll to 731. Number of recovered/discharged patients stands at 3,470.
