India reported 14,821 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of people infected with coronavirus in the country at 4,25,282. With 445 more deaths, the death toll now stands at 13,699.

1. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that those under home isolation will be given oximeters to monitor their oxygen saturation levels regularly.

Tamil Nadu government Monday announced complete lockdown in Madurai corporation limits, Paravai Town Panchayat, all village Panchayats of Madurai East, Madurai West and Thirupparankundram blocks of Madurai district from June 24 early morning to June 30. It reported 2,710 COVID-19 cases and 37 deaths today.

10. The UP government has said that it will soon start rapid antigen testing in the worst COVID-affected districts of the state. Principal Secretary (Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said while the RT-PCR testing capacity in the state is being continuously increased, they are going to start rapid antigen testing.
