IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants To Lock Horns With Mumbai Indians

Date:

Mumbai: Lucknow Super Giants will clash with the struggling Mumbai Indians side in the ongoing Indian Premier League on Sunday at the Wankhede Stadium.

Mumbai Indians are going through their worst phase after losing seven matches in this season of IPL. Skipper Rohit Sharma and his side failed to convert situations in their favor in all the earlier encounters this season.

Skipper Rohit Sharma and the top order of Mumbai Indians continue to struggle with a string of low scores and early dismissals this season. MI top pick Ishan Kishan failed to contribute in the last game against Chennai Super Kings. Youngster Tilak Varma scored a much-needed half-century in the last game. Surya Kumar Yadav too added 32 runs and built a crucial partnership with Tilak.

MI bowling attack fell short as star bowler Jasprit Bumrah seems to be out of form in this season of IPL. Daniel Sams led the bowling attack for MI in the last game by bagging four wickets against CSK.

Lucknow Super Giants will be back after losing their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Skipper KL Rahul and the side will be looking to get back on track by registering a much-needed win in today’s game.

Dushmantha Chameera and Jason Holder bagged two wickets each in the last game. Pacer Avesh Khan will be looking forward to getting some crucial breakthrough in his spell.
