IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants To Clash With Punjab Kings

Pune: With being placed in the 4th position on the points table, Lucknow Super Giants will face Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Friday.

After defeating Mumbai Indians by 36 runs in the last game, skipper KL Rahul and his side will be looking forward to securing their place in the top four positions. KL Rahul is in top form and played an outstanding inning of 103 runs in the last game.

While other batters did not contribute much in the last game. Marcus Stoinis was dismissed on the third delivery and failed to secure any runs in the last game. Opener Quinton de Kock failed to assist KL Rahul and was dismissed during the powerplay.

Krunal Pandya led the bowling side by securing three wickets in his spell against Mumbai Indians.

Punjab Kings are back after defeating Chennai Super Kings in the last game. Shikhar Dhawan led the batting order and played a crucial inning of 88 runs in the last game. Bhanuka Rajapaksha added 45 runs to the total in the last game.

Kagiso Rabada took two wickets in the last match. Rishi Dhawan played a cameo and took MS Dhoni’s wicket in the last over leading the team to a much-needed win.
