New Delhi: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to investigate the murder of Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala has started the process to bring Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to Punjab.
Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is allegedly one of the main conspirators behind the murder of Sidhu Moosewala.
Mansa Superintendent of Police Gaurav Toora said that “SIT has many leads. Based on them, we’ve brought 2 accused on production warrant & have arrested one. We hope to get better leads from them to take the investigation forward toward the culprit. We’re sure an organized gang did this.”
Toora further added that Bishnoi is in the custody of the Delhi Police at present, so the police cannot remand him right now, However, he added that the SIT will make him join the investigation after that and his role will be probed.
Lawrence Bishnoi is currently in the custody of Delhi Police and is in Tihar jail.
