YouTube Takes Down Sidhu Moose Wala’s Song YSL

New Delhi: The last song by late artist Sidhu Moose Wala, which was made public after his death, has been taken down from YouTube. The song was released earlier this week, weeks before his passing, Sidhu recorded, wrote, sang and composed the song.

The song was on Punjab’s water issue, the title SYL refers to the Sutlej-Yamuna Link canal, the issue between Punjab and Haryana for over almost three decades.

The music video was released by producer MXRCI on June 23. However, on clicking the link of the video, a message gets displayed which reads, “Video unavailable. This content is not available on this country domain due to a legal complaint from the government.

Video of the song portray the Sikh flag being flown at the Red Fort during the farmer protest, and it mentions undivided Punjab and the 1984 anti-Sikh Riots.
