CWG 2022: Wrestler Bajrang Punia Wins Gold For India

Birmingham: Wrestler Bajrang Punia has clinched the Commonwealth Games gold by winning in the final of 65kg category.

Bajrang Punia outclassed Canada’s Lachlan McNeil (9-2) in in the men’s freestyle 65 Kg weight category final and earned the seventh gold medal in Commonwealth Games 2022.

The wrestler won the men’s 65kg gold medal match and became India’s first gold medal from wrestling.
