Mumbai: The expansion of the Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra Cabinet is likely to take place on Tuesday.
Shiv Sena MLA and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has been functioning as a two-member cabinet since then, inviting criticism from opposition leaders.
A senior BJP leader while talking to PTI added that the expansion will take place in Mumbai and he cannot divulge into details about who will be in the cabinet.
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis undertook multiple visits to Delhi in the past few weeks.
Earlier, Eknath Shinde assured that the functioning of the state government has not been affected in any form due to the delay in expansion of the council of ministers and that the government is planning to get more ministers soon.
