New Delhi: In a bid to unite the opposition parties in the run-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met CM Arvind Kejriwal on the second day of his visit to the national capital on Tuesday.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha were also present at the meeting. Earlier in the day, Nitish Kumar also met CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury and CPI General Secretary D Raja at their respective party offices.
According to reports, he will further meet former Haryana chief minister and INLD leader Om Prakash Chautala.
Earlier on Monday, Bihar CM met Congress leader Rahul Gandhi at his residence. Congress sources quoted by newswire ANI said that both the parties will continue their “concrete discussions” in the run-up to the Lok Sabha polls.
