Ajay Devgn is back as Vijay Salgaonkar, the trailer of Drishyam 2 is released on Monday triggering a lot of curiosity among the audience.
The trailer of the thriller evidently tells that the film will follow the events of the first film after seven years, it starts with a monologue, “truth is like the seed of a tree.” He explains that it does come up eventually, no matter how deep you bury it. The monologue might be a cryptic hint and the body of Sam Deshmukh that he buried in the first part of the film.
Helmed by by Abhishek Pathak, the films stars Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor, and Shriya Saran in the lead roles and is all set to hit the theatres on November 18, 2022.
“7 years after the case related to Vijay Salgaonkar and his family was closed, a series of unexpected events bring a truth to light that threatens to change everything for the Salgaonkars. Can Vijay save his family this time? (sic),” read the caption.
Ahead of the release of Drishyam 2, Ajay Devgn took to social media to share a new poster that featured him. In the poster, the actor looks super tensed as he holds a shovel in his hand.

Drishyam is the Hindi remake of the hit Malayalam flick of the same name, which was helmed by National-Award-winning director Nishikant Kamat.
