Elon Musk Announces New Twitter Guidelines, Says ‘Rules Will Evolve Over Time’

Date:

Washington: Twitter’s Chief Elon Musk on Monday shared the updated rules and norms of using the microblogging platform and claimed that it will “evolve over time”.

The guidelines have been divided into five sections, out of which the others are ‘Safety,’ ‘Privacy,’ ‘Enforcement and Appeals,’ and ‘Third-party advertising in video content.’

The guidelines of the platform have largely remained the same but a few pointers like “Misleading and Deceptive Identities” have been added to the Authenticity section.

The addition states that “You may not impersonate individuals, groups, or organizations to mislead, confuse, or deceive others, nor use a fake identity in a manner that disrupts the experience of others on Twitter.”

Earlier, Twitter updated its iOS app for Apple iPhone users, including the new USD 7.99 per month Blue subscription.
