We ran a reverse Image Search on the keyframes of the video along with some keywords and found that the longer version of the video was streamed live on a YouTube channel Patel Group on December 7, 2017.
The title of the video read: Jan Sankalp sabha – Bhavnagar | Jan Sankalp Sabha – Bhavnagar Hardik Patel Patel Group.
The viral clip can be seen at the one-hour mark of the original video.
We also found that the video was streamed live on the Facebook page of Hardik Patel on December 7, 2017.
This proves that the video is old.
Moreover, a report by NDTV dated June 2, 2022, mentioned that Hardik Patel Joined the BJP days after quitting Congress. According to the video description, months before the Gujarat election, Hardik Patel joined the BJP on June 2, 2022, at the BJP office in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar.
According to a report by The Indian Express, Patel joined Congress in 2019 and was made the working president of its state unit in July 2020. He resigned from it on May 18, 2022, and joined BJP on June 2, 2022.
