Ind Vs Aus 1st Test: Jadeja’s Five-Wicket Haul Crumble Australia For 177

Nagpur: Australian batting lineup crumbled like a house of cards against the Indian spin attack in the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday.

Batting first, Australia managed to put 177/10 in 63.5-overs.

Spinners Ravindra Jadeja bagged five wickets marking his 11th five-wicket haul.

R Ashwin took three wickets becoming the second fastest to take 450-test wickets when he dismissed Alex Carey for 36 in his 11th over as he became just the second Indian bowler to achieve the feat after Anil Kumble.

Meanwhile, star batter Suryakumar Yadav made his Test debut while wicketkeeper-batter KS Bharat made his international debut.
