New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday vowed to protect migrant workers from other states amid the reports of targeted attacks on people from Bihar.
Earlier, referring to fake videos circulating on social media of migrants being attacked in the southern state, Tamil Nadu Director General of Police C Sylendra Babu said that they were false and “mischievous.”
According to reports, police officers from both states are keeping a close watch on the social media platforms to keep a check on rumours and fake WhatsApp messages being forwarded.
