Follow COVID Protocols, Face Masks Must: Haryana Health Minister Amid Spike In Cases

Gurugram: Amid the recent surge in the number of COVID cases across the country, Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Monday urged people across the state to follow the COVID-related protocols and mandated wearing of masks wherever the crowd is more than 100 people.

According to ANI, Anil Vij in a statement said that “People need to follow the COVID protocol. Wherever there is a crowd with more than 100 people, they need to wear masks and we’ve instructed that.”

He further stated that “We’ve also increased the testing. We currently have 724 active patients in the state but none of them is hospitalized.”

Earlier today, India reported over 3,000 fresh COVID cases for the third straight day with a total of 3,641 cases in the last 24 hours.

States like Delhi and Maharashtra are seeing a major spike in the number of cases over the last few days.
