New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday registered a case against BBC India in connection with alleged foreign exchange irregularities.
According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate has filed a case against BBC under Foreign Exchange Management Act for irregularities in foreign funding.
The report further added that ED has asked BBC India to furnish books of accounts and financial statements.
Earlier in February, the BBC offices in India were searched by the income tax authorities in connection with alleged irregularities in taxes, diversion of profits and non-compliance.
