Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Nitish Rana was fined by the BCCI for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct after being involved in a verbal fight with Mumbai Indians bowler Hrithik Shokeen during the match.
Mumbai Indians skipper Suryakumar Yadav was also fined for maintaining slow-over rate during their encounter against KKR on Sunday.
Nitish Rana lost his temper in the ninth over of the game when he was dismissed by Hrithik Shokeen. He was fined 25 per cent of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct.
As Rana was making his way back to the pavilion, Hrithik Shokeen had a go at him which led to a heated argument between the bowler and KKR skipper. Shokeen was also fined 10% of his match fee for breaching Code of Conduct.
