New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday named former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia as an accused for the first time in the chargesheet filed in connection with the liquor policy case.
According to sources close to ANI, the supplementary chargesheet has been filed under IPC sections 120B (criminal conspiracy), 420 (Cheating) and other sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The report further added that the chargesheet has been filed against Manish Sisodia, Amandeep Singh Dhall, Arjun Pandey and Butchi Babu Gorantla in the Delhi excise policy case.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was questioned by the CBI as a witness in the case for nearly nine hours.
