New Delhi: As the highly anticipated clash between India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup draws closer, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has extended a golden opportunity for fans to witness and be a part of this historic rivalry.
The BCCI is set to unveil a batch of 14,000 tickets on Sunday for the highly anticipated clash on October 14 in Ahmedabad.
“BCCI set to release 14,000 tickets for India v. Pakistan League Match on October 14, 2023,” BCCI announced in a statement.
The sale of the 14,000 tickets will go live at 12 PM IST on Sunday (October 8). Fans will be able to purchase the tickets by visiting the official ticketing website.
“The BCCI announces the release of 14,000 tickets for the highly anticipated India v. Pakistan match to be held on October 14, 2023, at Ahmedabad. The sale of tickets for the match will commence from 12 PM IST onwards on October 8th, 2023. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the official ticketing website at https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com,” the statement further added.
The Pakistan cricket team registered a victory against the Netherlands in their campaign opener and will look to continue the momentum. India will play their World Cup campaign opener against Australia tomorrow at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
The World Cup kicked off on October 5th, featuring a highly anticipated match between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Kiwis registered a dominating victory against the defending champions. The tournament will wrap up with the final at the same venue on November 19th. India’s campaign begins in Chennai on October 8th against Australia.
The World Cup features ten teams playing 48 matches across ten venues from October 5 to November 19. The venues include Ahmedabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune. Additionally, practice games will be held in Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram, along with Hyderabad.
