The video is shared on Facebook with a caption: “भाई पत्रकार महोदय क्या अब आंदोलनकारी दारू भी ना पियें ? का करे साला जिये की ना जिये तुम बच के रहना इनकी पोल खोलना बोतल दिखाना महँगा पड़ सकता हैं ANI वाले की तरह तुम पर भी हमला हो सकता हैं। आपको लगता हैं अब भी ये किसान हैं ? NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim, and found it to be MISLEADING.
Doing a keyword search, the NM team found that the report was posted on January 26, 2021, on the YouTube channel of ‘TV9 Bharatvarsh.’ In the longer version of the viral video, the name of the reporter mentioned is Vipin Choubey.
The report actually covers the farmers’ violence during the tractor rally on January 26, 2021, against agricultural laws. Vipin Choubey’s report specifically focuses on the Apsara border of Delhi-Ghaziabad.
Also, we could not find any recent media report corroborating the viral claim. Had such an incident happened, mainstream media would have covered it.
Thus, it is evident from the above information that the viral claim is misleading.
