Car Rams Trailer On Ahmedabad-Vadodara Expressway, 10 Dead

Date:

Ahmedabad: As per the officials 10 people reportedly were killed and one injured after a car rammed a trailer truck on the Ahmedabad- Vadodara expressway on Wednesday. The incident took place when a car veered off behind a trailer truck near Nadiad and led to massive traffic on the 93-kilometre-long expressway.

The car was going from Vadodara to Ahmedabad. All 10 occupants in the car lost their lives in this disastrous incident. Upon receiving the news of the accident two ambulances rushed to the spot and moved the bodies to the hospital.

Two of the car’s occupants died from their wounds while being transported to the hospital, leaving the other eight dead on the scene. There was a severe traffic bottleneck on the freeway after the incident. To determine what caused the accident, police have begun their investigation. According to Pankaj Desai, the MLA for Nadiad, there’s a chance that a technical issue caused the truck to stop in the left lane of the road, giving the automobile driver little time to use the brakes and collide with it.
