Taylor Swift’s all-new, seventh album now has a title, ‘Lover’ and the internet is in a frenzy. She has broken the internet once again by releasing the title and a song from the album called ‘You need to calm down,’.
Here’s all we know and you need to know about the new album.

During an Instagram live chat, “Mama Swift” revealed the release date for TS7 to her 118 million Instagram followers which is August 23rd.
2. The album will consist of 18 songs
18 would be the most amount of songs Swift has ever had in one album. It’s already available for pre-sale on iTunes. New merchandise reflecting the new album’s art and design is already for sale on her website.
3. The album cover 
The album cover was designed by Stella McCartney.

4. The fan math was correct
During the live Instagram chat, Swift was not only gracious for her fans, but she was also admittedly impressed at their ability to decode her Easter egg clues. Not only did Swift Nation accurately guess her album release date, but they were able to guess the date of the album announcement.

5. ‘Lover’ may include a duet with Katy Perry
It appears the two artists buried the hatchet by baking a plate of chocolate chip cookies together, a photo of which Perry posted on her Instagram, geo-tagged the post at “Let’s Be Friends,” and captioned the picture “feels good” with an orange heart emoji.
They may unite for the new album and the fans would love to see them together.
