Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh, Justice Mansoor AhmedMir said that judicial education was essential for enhancingthe quality and improving the standards of justice, addingthat independence of judiciary depends upon public confidenceand also on that how well the judges are doing their jobs. He said judicial academies were responsible for planningand providing initial and continuous training to judges andcourt officers to enhance the quality of dispensation ofJustice. Mir said that the academy had launched help desk on itswebsite where the judicial officers can view the readingmaterial, videos of previous lectures and can ask questionsfrom the academy. The academy was also preparing Himachal Series named ILRwhich was sent to the judicial officers by e-mail to apprisethem about the latest law laid down by the High Court, headded. PTI PCLRG
