In a revolutionary move, Reliance on Thursday introduced world’s cheapest internet service, Reliance Jio.
Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani announced about the much Reliance Jio 4G during the annual general meeting in Mumbai on Thursday. A day later as a part of promotion strategy, the company put out a full front page newspaper advertisement that say, “Dedicated to India and 1.2 billion Indians,” with a big picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

As the ad appeared featuring the Prime Minister, it raised many eyebrows starting with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who took twitter and said “PM as Mr Reliance,” and continued by a series of tweets slamming PM Modi and Reliance.

Not only Kejriwal, others also took a spat on twitter over the advertisement
Narendra Modi is endorsing Reliance Jio.
Makes sense for the PM to endorse a brand.

Well, you do know that “I’m Jio’d” is an anagram of Modi-ji. pic.twitter.com/jKfcLbLpob

As Reliance has got Modi ji to promote Jio, I am now having doubts on whether they’d be able to fulfil the huge promises they made earlier.
