Bryan Adams concluded his three-day concert with his last performance in Gurugram on Sunday night but his experience here is something he might never forget.
The Canadian singer-songwriter got a first-hand experience of the pollution in Delhi. In a post shared by the singer on Instagram a man’s silhouette appears to be reflected against a backdrop of apparent dust.
Terming the experience as ‘magical’, his post read, ” New Delhi, India 🇮🇳 you we’re incredible tonight. In this photo, if you look carefully you can see my shadow silhouetted in the dust and smoke of the venue over the audience. I’ve never seen that before. Magical India. Namaste 🙏🏻 .”
It is not even winters yet and the pollution is already standing at our doorsteps.
According to World Health Organisation (WHO) data, the national capital is the sixth worst place in the world for pollution with average PM2.5 levels recorded at 143.
With festivals like Dussehra and Diwali just around the corner, we need to take some collective steps to curb the pollution before things run out of hands, again.
