Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict which started on February 24, 2022, a video is being widely shared on social media platforms claiming to be visuals of the ongoing conflict.
The video is being shared with a caption that reads, “Russia VS Ukraine Army Fight Live War Update”

NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be misleading.
On doing a Google Reverse Image Search we found that the same video was uploaded by a YouTube channel on August 5, 2021 with a title that read, “French Foreign Legion In Heavy Combat With Taliban In Afghanistan.”
We compared the viral screenshot with the original screenshot and found them to be the same.
A report by France 24, which was published on November 11, 2012, said that France ended its last combat mission in Afghanistan withdrawing troops from a strategic province northeast of Kabul as part of an accelerated departure from the war-torn country.
Though we were not able to find the origin of the video, we could, however, ascertain that the viral video is old and is not associated with the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
