 FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the video and found that the caption attached to it is false.

We extracted the keyframes of the video using the InVID tool and put them through Reverse Image Search.

As a result, we found an article featuring the same video and according to the headline, it was taken in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, when the farmers were protesting for higher compensation for the land acquired for the ‘Trans Ganga City’.

We then ran a search using relevant keywords and found news bulletins, dated November  2019,  featuring the same. The title of the video also suggested that the video is from farmers’ protest in Unnao.

A screengrab of the video was also present in an article by Aaj Tak on farmers’ protest.

The above information proves that the video is being circulated on social media with a FALSE claim.
