Bangladesh mulling to bring Pak war criminals under trial: Prosecutor

Dhaka: A top prosecutor of Bangladesh, Syed HAider Ali, on Sunday said he was examining papers and documents to bring  Pakistani soldiers, accused of committing genocide during the 1971 liberation war who were released under 1972 Shimla Agreement, under trial in the country. Bangladesh law minister Shafique Ahmed hinted that 195 war criminals, who were handed over to Pakistan under Shimla Agreement be brought to justice. Ali said that the government would approach the foreign countries and investigating agencies. He also admitted that war criminals trial had slowed down due to some technical hitch.
