One Direction member Zayn Malik has revealed in a recent interview to Fader magazine that he was planning to quit the band from quite some time, and the decision was not spontaneous.
Malik has said that he was unsure as to why he wanted to part ways, but one fine day he decided to ‘fly solo’, because he had had enough, according to reports by E! Online.
22-year-old Zayn said that he didn’t have the creative freedom and liberty to experiment with music, and whenever he used to put-in personal effort, “it was like it didn’t fit us” due to having a general conception that the management already had of what they wanted for the band, and he wasn’t convinced with what they were selling.
Malik has now launched his solo career by releasing his first single song ‘Befour’.
