8 persons killed in two accidents in J&K Jammu, Aug 16 (PTI) At least eight persons, including twochildren, were killed and five others injured today in twoaccidents in Rajouri and Kathua districts of Jammu andKashmir. In the first mishap, five persons were killed when aSantro car, heading towards Mendhar in Poonch district fromJammu, skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge atBilogra in Rajouri district, said a police officer. Four people died on the spot while another passed away onway to hospital, the officer said, adding that the deceasedincluded two children. He said operation to recover the bodies is on. In the other incident, an ambulance vehicle, which was onits way from Katra in Reasi district to Ludhiana in Punjab,met an accident at Chadwal Morh in Kathua district, policesaid.
